What we eat in a week around the world
Today in class we watched a video. It was about different foods around the world that people eat in a week. The first picture looked like one of the Japanese students were in it. There were lots of countries.
By Chloe
My favourite food is Sushi and Butter chicken. My favourite countries are Australia and New Zealand. People eat healthy food in New Zealand.
By Tama
Some families have lots of food but some don't have any food. Some families have smaller amounts than others.
By Jack
Today we looked at Nude Food. I liked the Columbian food. There were lots of bananas. They had big loaves of bread. We watched a movie about a person who helps people learn to eat healthy food.

Conservation Week writing
I love Hamilton East School because we have kauri trees, totara trees and kowhai trees too. For fantails and tuis I love the way they sing their songs. We have wetas and bugs. We have little baby plants to take care of. I just love them all. By Chloe

Matariki Stories
Hey! Look, the seven sisters are out. It might be Matariki. What is Matariki? It's a celebration. A Maori celebration. The stars are called the tiny stars because they are really small.
