Stu Duval - Storyteller and Cartoonist

Stu Duval showed us some funny cartoons he likes to draw using numbers and letters.  Then he drew a magnificent pirate picture with chalk pastels and told us a story he made up using ideas from his own boy.

It was a very exciting story with music and sound effects.  Stu was a very dramatic storyteller and when we were listening we could believe it was real!!

We are excited about today because he is doing a workshop to show us how to do some of the cartoon drawings with numbers and letters.  Miss Langdon wants to learn how to draw the number 4 witch.

Stu Duval Visits our School on PhotoPeach

Grandparent's Day

Earlier this term we invited our Grandparents to come and visit us at school.

They listened to us reading our books and we showed them how fast we could read our basic sight words.  Then they came and listened to us singing at Kapa Haka.

We love sharing our learning with other people.
