Erin from Project Energise came and taught our class some co-operative games. Here we are trying to get a hoop right around our group without letting go of each others' hands. We also played a fun game of Evolution together.

Delicious Corn Fritters

Corn Fritters
Ingredients
1 egg
1/2 cup corn
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
-----------
1. Beat the egg
2. Mix in the corn, sugar and salt.
3. Sift the flour and baking powder into the egg mixture
4. Mix gently until just combined.
5. Fry small spoonfuls. Turn when golden brown.

Swimming Lessons
We have swimming every day. In New Zealand it is very important to learn how to be safe around water so we don't drown. The water feels FREEZING at first but we get used to the cold quickly and have lots of fun in the pool.
This week we practised keeping our legs straight and pointing our toes when we kick in the water.
