Emergency Services

We were lucky to have someone coming from St.Johns to educate us on different emergency services we have and which one to use in case of an emergency.

We  learned to call 111, talk to the operator and answer all the questions calmly and correctly.

We also learned what to do in case someone is bleeding - pack it , wrap it and lift it.

In the end we had an opportunity to look inside the ambulance.

We had lots of fun learning all this !

St. John's

A person called Daniel told us about stopping the blood from your hand. We need bandage to pack the hand, then wrap it and finally you lift the hand so the blood stops dripping and goes in your body. Then we had a look in the ambulance it had this blue bed for the hurt people, also we had a loud noise contest . We had to see who was louder, the ambulance or us . We thought it was us .

Rainbow Cloud Experiment

Today Room 15 did a science experiment using shaving cream and food colouring to make cloud and rain in a glass of water. First we filled glass containers 3/4 with water. Then we added food colour in two containers of water. The colours instantly mixed in the water. After that we placed shaving cream in the third container to make clouds. Finally we plopped few drops of different food colouring to make rainbow rain. It looked cool!

If I had a power If I had power it would be invisibility power . A bad thing i would do is I can get a pillow and hit someone. Another thing i would do is i can turn invisible and cut someone's hair. One more , actually 2 more is - I can act like a ghost and I can steal things from a shop but good thing is a I can catch a robber. I can sneak up on them and call the police and make sure they go to jail . That is why I want a super power.

Why do we wear a seatbelt? A seatbelt holds you so you don't hit your head on the glovebox. The seatbelt helps people from getting hurt and holds on to you ,it keeps you safe. I wonder what it would feel like if there was no such thing as a seatbelt ! It is also the law to were a seatbelt because a seatbelt straps you in and holds you tight. It is important to were a seatbelt all the time.
