Drop! Cover! Hold!

On Thursday at 9.15am lots of people in our country stopped what they were doing and pretended there was an earthquake.  Our school participated too.  We had to practise what we would do if there was a real earthquake.
At 9.15am our class was in the orchard and we all curled up under the benches and remembered to cover our heads to protect our brain!  It was fun to practise but in a real earthquake we think it would be quite scary.
Ms Langdon said she has been in a big earthquake so she knows how important it is to know what to do when the ground starts shaking.  She doesn't like earthquakes one bit!
