Galileo Galilei Exhibition
Today we went on a school trip to the Waikato museum with Rooms 14 and 16. We walked down the humongous stairs, across the road with the workers, and along the ANZAC parade bridge. We were as scared as mouse! We went to the museum to learn about Galileo Galilei. Galileo is a scientist, inventor, mathematician, teacher, astronomer, and explorer - Room 15
We went to the front of the rainbow dog and his tongue was dribbling a lot. We enjoyed learning about the different machines. - Mira, Molly, Pukhraaj, Abdullahi.
We liked going to the Galileo lab and using the different machines - Bella, Kowhai, Lucian, Tawaewae
We liked meeting Elaine because she showed us the pictures of Galileo. She taught us how to use the telescopes. We learned about the roman bridges and the 'key' stone that held it together. - Ayanna, Jashneel, Max.
We learnt about gravity. We learnt about science and looked at Galileo's art. We looked at the telescopes and it was amazing. - Bhadra, Gloria, Bede, Edward.
We learnt about the history Galileo Galilei. We listened to the stories and getting to use some of Galileo's and other scientists inventions. We listened to Elaine who told us all about him. - Perrin, Noah, Arya, Zoe, Eion, Ruzgar
We learnt lots of information about Galileo. We made a bridge and different puzzles - Ruby, 'Ota, Al Amin, Ansaf
